I decided to plan a shopping trip with my friends. There would be four of us going out to a bunch of different stores and then having lunch. I was excited to go because I knew we would have a good time.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to buy. I had a smaller budget but if something stood out to me I was probably going to purchase it. That is how I ended up with chalkboard paint hobby lobby brand. We went there first and I ended up getting three bottles.
As we were walking down the aisles I got an idea about some projects I wanted to work on. I knew I would need to get paint for them so we headed over to that section. I first noticed the chalkboard paint hobby lobby brand and then went on to see what my options were.
Luckily one of my friends has used this type of paint before. She was able to help me decide what to get and what type of paint I would need. I told her what projects I was thinking about and she told me about how much paint I would need.
After that we went to a few more stores and then had lunch. We were all pretty tired by that point so it was nice to relax and have a good meal. We are planning on going on another shopping trip like that again in a few months.

When I got home from the shopping trip I decided to go find the furniture I was going to paint. It was in my basement because I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it. I had found it at a used furniture store a few months before.
I planned to work on the painting the next weekend. My husband said he would help me out with the projects which I am thankful for. Then it won’t take me so long and I will have someone to talk to when I am doing it.
We hope that it will only take the weekend to get everything painted. Then we can let them dry and put them in the living room. I am excited to see what they look like when the paint dries.
I don’t do a lot of painting projects but when I do I find myself doing a lot of research on them. I want everything to look good and I don’t want it to look like a child did it. I want it to look nice and I want people to notice it when they come over to our house.
This next summer I would like to go out and buy a few more things to paint. I think it is a fun thing to do and it will be a good way to spend my time. It makes me happy to make something old look new again, especially if it is for my home.
